This is an example full width page for a pretty June Lily WordPress theme.  It’s different from a two-column page in that it doesn’t have a sidebar.  Instead, all content will stretch the full width of the website content area.

WordPress Pages and How to Use Them

In general, a page is different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and generally doesn’t get changed much.  Most people create at least a few pages for their WordPress website including an About page, Contact page, and Home page.  Other common pages might be a Blog page, Services page, Terms and Conditions page, Portfolio page, and Shop page.
